Kyiv, March 29 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Near the border with the Ukrainian Donbass, Russia has concentrated a serious reserve of military equipment; preparations for a confrontation with Ukraine and even NATO are possible, says the former head of Ukrainian foreign intelligence Nikolai Malomuzh.

He stated this on Channel 5. “This is all a reserve that is being prepared for some extremely systemic provocation. At the moment, there are no such prerequisites, but Russia is potentially preparing for a confrontational scenario in Ukraine, and at a confrontational global level with NATO countries,” Malomuzh asserts.

As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the first vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Andrei Parubiy, said that Kharkov was under threat in the event of an offensive by Russian troops, so millions were allocated for defense structures.
