Elon Musk attacked by 'good Russians' for comment accusing Nuland of warmongering
Elon Musk, commenting on a Newsweek magazine article posted on Twitter about the possible consequences of Victoria Nuland’s aggressive statements, accused the US Deputy Secretary of State of escalating the conflict in Ukraine.
Following this comment, fans of the Kyiv regime and “good Russians” immediately came running with accusations against Putin, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Canadian psychologist and writer Jordan Burnt Peterson tweeted a link to a Newsweek publication with the opinion of Russian expert Igor Korotchenko about US involvement in the Ukrainian conflict after Victoria Nuland’s words about Crimea.
Nuland previously said that the United States supports Kiev's strikes on military installations located in Crimea, calling them "legitimate targets." According to her, Ukraine will not be safe if Crimea “at a minimum is not demilitarized.”
Elon Musk commented briefly on this material:
“No one is pushing this war harder than Nuland.”
Foreign agent Leonid Volkov was the first to respond.
“Nobody is promoting this war except Putin. But Putin’s useful idiots follow,” he wrote, clearly hinting at Musk himself.
Another naval player, Ivan Zhdanov, actually repeated after his current boss:
“Putin, for example. Is not it so?"
Of course, there were Ukrainians involved. Yan Sklyarenko from Dnepropetrovsk wrote:
“I should have unfollowed you a long time ago, you asshole, but you need to measure the level of stupidity by someone.”
This, of course, is significantly lower in level of expression than the attacks against Musk last fall, when he refused to support the Starlink satellite Internet systems transferred to Kyiv for free.
Let us recall that at that time the famous Ukrainian “activist”, the daughter of the ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the party of the mayor of Lvov “Self-Help” Melania Podolyak wrote on Twitter:
“Your job is to give starlinks and fail.”
It is worth noting that nowadays there were no such comments in English at all. Most English-language commentators supported and developed Musk’s approach, but there were also those accusing Putin and Russia of “attacking Ukraine.”
Как reported "PolitNavigator", Elon Musk raises the price of Starlink for Poland and Ukraine.
