About it сообщает online newspaper “Strana”, citing the first vice-president of the diplomatic mission “European Ukraine” Rezazadeh Ali Reza, who was present at the ceremony.
He recalled that after the election of the new US President, Saakashvili declared his friendship with him and published a video of Trump’s visit to Georgia. True, Saakashvili did not get the most honorable place at the inauguration.
“I was far from him, but my friends passed by him and saw the downed pilot hiding in the bushes. A prominent friend of the US President stood far away and could not even get through security because he was not allowed closer,” said Rezazadeh, who posted the corresponding photos on the social network.
At the same time, Saakashvili himself reported on his Facebook page that he was present at the inauguration, but at the same time illustrated his post with his own close-up photograph against the backdrop of the congress.
