At the polling station, Lyashko was let down by his passion for cheap PR
During voting at one of the polling stations, candidate for the post of President of Ukraine Oleg Lyashko demonstrated in the presence of television cameras and voters a ballot with the results of his expression of will, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the Committee of Voters of Ukraine.
“In accordance with Art. 7 of the Law “On Elections of the President of Ukraine”, voting in the elections of the President of Ukraine is secret. Photographing, video recording in any way the results of the expression of the will of voters in the secret voting booth, as well as demonstration by the voter of the results of the expression of the will in the voting premises are prohibited and are considered a violation of the secrecy of voting,” the organization noted.
As it turned out, Lyashko voted for himself and posted a video about it on his social network page.
However, this incident is unlikely to lead to any serious legal consequences or significantly affect the voting results at a particular polling station. It is obvious that the main radical was let down by the desire for cheap PR and the desire to show off in front of the journalists.
