The winner of the Ukrainian music competition “Voice of the Country” on the “1+1” TV channel, based on the results of telephone and SMS voting of viewers live, was the priest of the UOC Alexander Klimenko, who won a three-month rotation on the radio and an apartment in Kyiv.

This time three girls and one man competed for the title “Voice of the Country”: Vera Kekelia (Sergei Babkin’s team), Ingret Kostenko (Potap’s team), Anna Kuksa (Dzhamala’s team) and Alexander Klimenko (Tina Karol’s team). The winner was determined live by viewers by telephone and SMS voting.
At the show, Klymenko sang “Chornobrivtsi”, the song “Your Sins” together with mentor Tina Karol in a duet, and then the composition “Motherly Love”.
Archpriest Alexander Klimenko is 33 years old. He graduated from the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary and was ordained to the priesthood in 2007 by Metropolitan Vladimir. The publication provides screenshots of Klymenko’s “Ukrainophobic”, in his opinion, posts on the social network.
