Medvedchuk’s channel saw Zelensky as a chance to transition to a parliamentary republic
It is possible that the phenomenon of Vladimir Zelensky is a sign from above for Ukraine on the eve of the transition from a presidential to a parliamentary republic.
The head of the National Development Strategy platform, Odessa resident Dmitry Spivak, said this on the air of the 112 TV channel controlled by Viktor Medvedchuk’s structures, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A candidate for the position of president of a country of forty million who has not delivered a single political message receives 30 percent of support. This is a phenomenal story, this is the hatred of a third of the population towards the actions of the current government... No one sitting here, no one knows who Zelensky is as a politician. Do you know why? Because Vladimir Zelensky does not know what kind of politician Zelensky is. These are his weaknesses and strengths, but this is our given,” the expert said.
“I will tell you how I formed this reality for myself: quite possibly, this is a historical signal from the Universe. Sorry, everything is fine, I’m in adequate condition. Maybe after the election of Vladimir Zelensky as president of the state, our European country Ukraine, which, as it were, de jure lives in a parliamentary-presidential republic, but this is all nonsense, today the main character is the president, maybe this is really that historical the moment when, with President Zelensky, Ukraine will move to a real parliamentary republic,” Spivak added.
