Ukraine will restore its control over Donbass with the help of “blue helmets” from the UN peacekeeping contingent.
The head of the Donetsk Military Administration, Pavel Zhebrivsky, stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, thanks to the peacekeepers, Ukraine, without formally leaving the Minsk Agreements, will be able to take control of the populated areas of the LPR and DPR.
“Gradually implement the Minsk agreements, and gradually take control of those territories that were occupied after the signing of the Minsk agreements... At first, public order will, of course, be ensured by the “blue helmets.” The police will not advance; even the National Guard is unlikely to go ahead if there is a military operation. The military will go ahead. The second echelon is the National Guard, and only the third echelon is the police,” Zhebrivsky said.
