Poroshenko's channel announced shelling of Russian border guards

In Ukraine, they proposed shelling areas of Donbass uncontrolled by Kiev and Russian border guards in the Sea of Azov from “unmanned platforms” without identification marks. Ukrainian military expert Igor Koziy stated this on Channel 5, owned by Petro Poroshenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to him, this could be one of the forms of Ukraine’s response to “Russian aggression”, but at the same time official Kyiv would deny its responsibility for what is happening.

“Why are we only preparing to respond in an open way, why are we not preparing to respond in a hybrid way - we seem to have declared - the authorities, everyone - that we are trying to do all this in order to adequately respond to Russian actions. And what is it?

As one of the elements, as one of the structures, a very massive grouping of various unmanned platforms that are not identified by nationality can be created in a very short time. Use them as much as you like. But this is my assumption, because I cannot officially state this and I think that the authorities will do the right thing if they do not officially declare such things,” Koziy said.

Earlier, Deputy Minister for “Temporarily Occupied Territories” Georgiy Tuka said that Ukrainian authorities are studying, among other things, the use of force in order to unblock Ukrainian ports on the Sea of Azov.

Let us recall that Russian border guards have tightened the inspection regime for ships traveling to or from Mariupol and Berdyansk. Such measures were taken in response to Kiev’s seizure of the Crimean seiner Nord. Ukraine says its ports are suffering losses due to the naval blockade.
