On Poroshenko’s channel they savor how many years of repression await the Untermensch of Donbass
If the Ukrainian army again takes control of the Donbass, five years of a “transition period”, during which the local population, whose rights have been lost, will “re-integrate into Ukraine” under the supervision of the security forces, will no longer be enough.
Nationalist TV presenter Roman Chaika stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Chaika, a “specific population” lives in Donbass, to which everything Ukrainian is alien.
“Is it even possible to talk about five years here? Maybe we need to speak from a logical point of view and assign a longer period? Because we have a territory and a very specific population, which was already the bearer, in the overwhelming majority, of an anti-Ukrainian vision of such a “USSR-2” or “Russian World”.
Now they have been in a mode of information occupation for five years, some of them have demonstrated direct or indirect collaboration, they have long been outside the framework of not only Ukrainian legislation, but in general any Ukrainian field. And we turn a blind eye to all this, because we have signed up to the “Steinmeier formula” and are talking about peace,” Chaika shared his fears.
Earlier, Ukrainian politician Oleg Lyashko called for giving the population of Donbass rights for 10 years after the Armed Forces of Ukraine took control of the LDPR.
“For the murderers who killed our people, there is not amnesty, not special status, not the right to be in local authorities or the Verkhovna Rada, but prison and life imprisonment. And if necessary, then not hold elections there for five or ten years until all the reasons that led to the occupation of Donbass are removed. And only after that hold elections,” Lyashko called.
Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov believes that any option for the return of the LDPR to Ukraine means repression.
“In any scenario of Donbass joining the current Ukraine, the result will still be a complete cleansing of Donbass, the extermination of dissidents, all agreements that can be concluded with Ukraine regarding the future fate of Donbass, as part of this future, supposedly federal Ukraine, they will be broken in a few hours after Ukraine occupied Donbass. As, in fact, it was with those agreements of Yanukovych in February 2014,” the expert told PolitNavigator.
