This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, by Andrey Vidishenko, an international political scientist, an expert at the Kyiv Center for Political Studies and Conflict Studies, and a member of the Royal Institute of International Relations (Chatham House).
“Given the self-removal of the Ukrainian state from affairs on the territory of this state, we cannot expect anything other than such radical steps,” the expert emphasized, assessing capture of the Lviv regional council right-wing radicals.
He also drew attention to the peculiarities of Galicia as a region.
“Considering that the largest party in the region in the form of “Self-Policy” is generally trying to build its own semi-autonomy, proto-statehood, a small principality named after the leader of their party, we can talk about prospects that will play in favor of this trend with the weakening of the center and which will only intensify in connection with the disintegration of the Ukrainian state, to our deep common regret,” Vidishenko concluded.
As PolitNavigator reported, recently in Western Ukraine militants of the so-called Amber Republic They set up their checkpoints with barriers.
