At the Kerch ferry crossing, when the ferry “Protoporos IV” was moored, one of the cars fell into the water.

It is noted that the driver of the LADA Priora, registered in Karachay-Cherkessia, without waiting for the ferry to be completely moored, took off, drove up to the edge of the ramp and fell into the sea.

Eyewitnesses report that before this he shouted: “I must be the first in Crimea.”

The emergency occurred at 9:20 am. As a result of rescue operations, by 11:40 the car was lifted from the bottom. Due to the impact with the quay wall, the Priora's roof was dented and the windshield was broken. The unfortunate driver himself was not injured.
