Unidentified people in balaclavas seized the elevator, which employees of the owner, the farm, have not been able to access since Saturday. The unarmed police were unable to contain the conflict and shooting began.

According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkov region, four people were injured as a result of the conflict - three men and an employee of the regional police department. According to the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Union, the owner of the farm, Alexander Strohiy, was also wounded in the shootout. Criminal proceedings have been initiated under the article “Hooliganism”.

The head of a neighboring farm, Viktor Proskurin, said that unknown persons had exploded a grenade and were preparing to storm the elevator.

“Most likely they were hired by a raider. Data about him appeared in the Register on Friday, September 7. The Solonitsevsky notary made changes to the Register, after which Strogoy’s farm became owned by a certain Marunyak, registered in the Donetsk region. The raider takeover of the crop is also taking place at my enterprise, when the titushki take the sunflower crop directly from the combine. The police can't do anything. Today, the deputy head of the Zmievsky police department was wounded, and an ambulance took him away unconscious. They don’t even give the police weapons,” said a neighboring farmer.

National Corps militants also came there. His representative Daniil Yakovlev writes on social networks that the farm enterprise “Strateg-Agro” in the village of Ukrainsky was seized by unknown masked men with weapons.

Activists of the National Corps and local residents, as well as police officers, arrived at the scene of the incident. After this, a shootout occurred, during which the brother of the eyewitness, blogger Kirill Yakovlev, received eight wounds from a pump-action shotgun in the head, back and arm.

“The police are inactive, one law enforcement officer was injured. “National Corps” activists, together with the local community and enterprise workers, are helping to expel the bandits so that farmers have access to their jobs!” wrote Daniil Yakovlev.
