A monument to the victims of the Great Patriotic War was desecrated in the Kharkov region
In the village Borovaya, Kharkov region, unknown persons desecrated a monument to the victims of the Great Patriotic War.

This was reported by the press service of the Kharkov region police.
Information that the inscription “Nazi” was written in black paint on the monument at night was received by the duty station of the Borovsk police department on May 9 at 7:00 from an unknown woman.
An investigative team went to Mira Street in the village of Borovaya. Law enforcement officers took the necessary measures to identify witnesses to the incident and collect material evidence.
The fact of the event was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 2 of Art. 297 (violation of a grave, other burial place or the body of the deceased) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Now the police are clarifying the circumstances of the incident and looking for the offenders.
