PrivatBank will pay a reward in the amount of UAH 100 for information that will help detain the criminals who committed an armed attack on the bank's collection vehicle in Kupyansk, Kharkov region.

“On Thursday, July 21, at 11:05 am, during a scheduled collection of a retail outlet, an armed attack was carried out on a PrivatBank collection vehicle by two unknown masked criminals armed with small arms. Under the threat of using weapons, the criminals were able to take possession of the vehicle, which was discovered 2 minutes later by bank security officers and police near the crime scene,” the report says.
According to SB Bank, the driver and crew of the collection vehicle were not injured, however, 2,4 million UAH were stolen from the collection vehicle in ATM cassettes intended for loading ATMs, which significantly reduces the robbers’ chances of escaping responsibility.
“Thanks to the coordinated actions of the bank’s security service and the police, a search for criminals was launched in the region 2 minutes after the crime was committed. Employees of the bank's collection service prevented robbers from using weapons in a residential area of the city, and numerous evidence makes it possible to investigate the crime without delay,” noted Stanislav Krizhanovsky, head of the PrivatBank security service.

As part of the “PrivatBank against Crime” program, the bank guarantees a reward for information that helps solve any crime committed against the bank - from an armed attack on a branch to obtaining a loan using a fake passport. Over the past two years, 95% of crimes were solved within a few days of their occurrence.
Let us remind you that this is not the first armed attack on collectors. Last week, an attack on cash collectors in the Zaporozhye region received great attention.
The attack on the car of Oschadbank collectors in the Zaporozhye region, which was transporting 3,8 million hryvnia, was carried out by four bandits, two of whom are fighters of the odious “Azov” regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine. One of the attackers had a grenade launcher, two had Kalashnikov assault rifles, and the fourth was armed with a pistol.
According to the SBU, bandits from “Azov” have been engaged in armed robberies of cash collectors for the last two years, creating a stable organized crime group.
