“The iron foundry and steel foundry shops have already started cutting. Molds are removed from the iron foundry. As far as I know, they are being taken to Smila, in the Cherkasy region. Nobody explains anything to us, of course. They cut all day. They simply destroy everything, turning it into scrap metal,” the publication quotes one of the plant’s employees.
According to him, the work to destroy the plant’s capacity will not stop there – the next step is the workshop where orders for the defense sector were collected. “They said that the next one was the workshop where they made the defense industry. There are generally machines, equipment... Everyone is in shock,” he added.
Let us remind you that the plant produces tractors with a power of 35 l/s, and wheeled and tracked tractors with a power of 150-280 l/s. In 2015, the plant received UAH 218 million. net loss, Downtime at the plant lasts about 9 months.
