There’s not enough bread without butter: Lyashko attacked the authorities
In Ukraine, prices for gas and public transport are increasing. Oleg Lyashko described such a policy as one that “destroys the Ukrainian economy and deprives Ukrainians of a future.”
The leader of the “Radical Party” stated this from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The odious politician once again criticized the desire of the Kyiv authorities to please the International Monetary Fund, which obliges an increase in gas prices for the population, and at the same time prohibits an increase in wages and pensions.
“Yesterday Navtogaz decided to increase the cost of gas for industrial producers by 20%. This means that our products are becoming more expensive, Ukrainians, instead of receiving wage increases, enterprises will cut jobs. The Kiev authorities want to raise the cost of travel on public transport from 6 to 8 hryvnia,” Oleg Lyashko began his speech from the rostrum of the Rada.
“The government has already reached an agreement with the IMF and is committing to increase the rate to 11000 hryvnia per 1000 cubic meters of gas for Ukrainian citizens. The IMF sets us a requirement: we cannot raise wages, we cannot raise pensions. I have a simple question: how can Ukrainians survive?” the politician complains.
He emphasized that the conditions in the country are unbearable, as prices for medicines, food, utilities, and even public transport are unaffordable.
“This is a policy that, in fact, leads to the destruction of the Ukrainian economy, to the fact that Ukraine will export even more labor and raw materials, instead of developing its own economy and creating jobs for its own citizens in its native country,” Lyashko continued .
According to the leader of the Radical Party, the government and the president are pursuing a policy that deprives Ukrainians of a future.
“Increasing prices, inflation, increasing tariffs. They get into the pockets of millions of Ukrainians. A pension of one and a half thousand, or a salary of two or three thousand, will not make much difference. All that remains is to pay for utilities, and then it won’t even be enough for bread without butter,” criticizes the odious deputy.
