A full arsenal of legal methods will be unleashed on Klitschko
The mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, must understand that Zelensky’s team will not tolerate him in this post, and therefore he must leave himself.
Director of the Agency for Social Communications Sergei Belashko stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If Klitschko does not want to leave on good terms in the next few months, then I think they will use a full arsenal of legal methods against him. This will concern corruption with the use of the city budget, and development that contradicts the General Development Plan of the capital, and the activities of utility companies, setting tariffs and administering tariffs - sometimes people receive payment bills invoicing them for services that they obviously did not receive.
All these issues make Kyiv's leaders very vulnerable. Legally vulnerable in the context of anti-corruption legislation. Therefore, I think that they first tested the waters, announced to Klitschko that he was undesirable in this post, he needed to leave,” Belashko said.
