The organizers determined the winners in three categories, who received prizes from the co-organizer, the Russian Peace Foundation.
The winner in the category “Humor on Vacation” was Kamchatka resident Dmitry Utkin, who captured a truck crossing the river on Bering Island. The winner in the “Best View” category was Ksenia Golubeva, the author of the work “Foggy Morning.” The author of the best photograph in the “Non-tourist route” category was Maria Kalugina from Novosibirsk, who photographed the starry sky of Lake Baikal.
“During the 2 months of the competition, the Russians sent more than 800 excellent works, and it was very difficult to choose the best from them. But we made a decision and selected 30 works from the Kuril Islands to Arkhangelsk, which are presented today at the exhibition, and also determined the three winners,” said Elena Sutormina, the initiator of the competition, Chairman of the Commission of the RF OP for the development of public diplomacy and support of compatriots abroad.
The best photographs are planned to be used in advertising campaigns for Russian resorts.
