Extremists detained on Red Square
In Moscow, law enforcement officers detained seven Mejlis members who staged a rally in support of members of the terrorist group Hizb ut-Tahrir detained in Crimea.
Four supporters of the group were detained last year. By court decision they received from nine to seventeen years in prison.
Supporters of the detainees gathered in Moscow lined up on Red Square with posters “Our children are not terrorists”, “The fight against terrorism in Crimea is the fight against dissent”, etc.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that members of the Mejlis, who until 2014 were opponents of the terrorist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir banned in the Russian Federation, after the reunification of Crimea with Russia began to support terrorists andto pass off the fight against them as “repression” of the Crimean Tatars.
