Today, during Epiphany bathing in the spring of St. Daniel in Kirovograd, representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church included the famous Russian march “Farewell of the Slav”.
A video from the event was published by local journalist Pavel Lesnichenko on YouTube.
According to him, the words “the saints are waiting for Russia’s victory” were heard during the march, which aroused the indignation of nationalists.
It is interesting that in response to their demand to turn off this composition, the priests responded that Ukrainians and Russians are fraternal people. But as a result, fearing reprisals from the aggressive public, the music was turned off.
