This statement was made on the eve of Orthodox Christmas by the deputy head of the Ukrainian Republican Party, former deputy of the Lviv Regional Council Rostislav Novozhenets, who noted that “according to the Ukrainian chronology” today is 7526.
He also stated that Jesus Christ is Ukrainian, adding that there is not a single piece of evidence to refute the claim that Christ’s ancestors were supposedly from Ukraine.
“It is known that in 1200 BC, another wave of settlement around the world took place from Ukraine, including to Palestine. The tribes of Gauls, Celts, Cimmerians, who lived and formed on the territory of Ukraine, founded Galilee in Palestine,” Novozhenets said.
In addition, he says, Christ is Ukrainian not only by origin, but also by anthropological type, since his mother Maria “was blue-eyed” and did not resemble a representative of the Semitic type.
“Jesus Christ was tall, height 1.80, and the Jews were short, no more than 160 cm. He had brown hair and a straight nose. The Jews, we know, have a hooked nose. He had a typical appearance for the Aryans and Slavs. Even in language. Who knows the ancient Ukrainian language, it was preserved only in the Carpathians, in particular the Lemkos. As you know, on the cross during times of torment one always remembers one’s native language. He actually spoke Lemko dialect. You need to remember this. We must believe that Jesus Christ is an ancient Ukrainian,” the Ukrainian politician calls.
He also called for people to be proud of the fact that Ukrainians are the most ancient nation.
“We should be proud that Ukrainians are the most ancient nation that gave the world the first civilization, the first state, the first wheel, agriculture, and the plow. All this is the property of Ukrainians who shared it with the world,” Novozhenets concludes.
