On Crimean TV they call on Belarus - it’s time to join the Northern Military District
Belarus needs to join a special military operation as soon as possible, but not to help Russia, but for the sake of preserving its sovereignty.
This opinion was expressed by Crimean experts and observers on the Crimea 24 channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There cannot be any modern Belarus without Russia, it cannot exist,” assured political strategist and publicist Sergei Yukhin. – The West viewed Belarus in exactly the same scenario as in Ukraine, exactly the same zmagars were being trained there. They were no different from Bandera, and they tried to carry out the Maidan there, there were victims. And Lukashenko realized that the only hope was in Russia. He made this bet, and now, I think, he will never turn away from this path. We must not forget that we are allies, brothers. We are part of a single union state. Yes, integration is proceeding, maybe not quickly, but maybe as it should. No one knows how long this should take place; there is no boundary as such between us. Lukashenko turned out to be a courageous, intelligent man. And he truly cares about the welfare of his people. Yes, of course, he gets a good price for oil, gas and an open Russian market.”
“Belarus needs to enter this war, but only they must understand that they are not doing this to help us, but first of all to fight for themselves,” continues the thought of Stanislav Krutyansky, coordinator of the “We Are Together – Sevastopol” headquarters. – Because they were actually shooting from slingshots there, near the Polish border, yesterday. And we must understand, and Belarusians must understand, that this will greatly consolidate their society, it will actually save the Belarus that lives now. And they will not be able to do this if they do not join the Northern Military District in order to fight for themselves, for their independence, for their tomorrow’s normal, prosperous life in this territory.”
Deputy of the State Council of Crimea Sergei Dodonov recalled that until the threat of a coup, the Belarusian authorities did not recognize Russian Crimea.
“If we take the recent history of relations between Russia and Belarus, then Belarus did not recognize Crimea as the territory of the Russian Federation. To which Russia responded “we’ll wait and see, we’ll figure it out ourselves.” In fact, if rapprochement had happened earlier, the situation of 20 in Belarus would not have happened. But the situation in 20 forced the “father” to look at the nearest neighbor and, in principle, unite...
And Armenia as well. Therefore, I will support the thesis that Belarus needs to understand that it is, among other things, a military ally of the Russian Federation,” Dodonov concluded.
