In the Lugansk region, officials of the coal association stole two thousand tons of coal

It is reported by the press service of the Ministry.
“Officials of the joint-stock company, which is 100% owned by the state, artificially lowered the volume of coal production. They sold products not reflected in the documentation to commercial structures, and appropriated the money,” the report says.
Intelligence officers documented the illegal sale by officials of almost two thousand tons of coal with an approximate value of ten million hryvnia.
“SBU operatives, together with the prosecutor’s office, conducted searches at the premises of the company, its structural divisions, at coal sites and at the places of residence of those involved in the case. Law enforcement officers seized technical documentation and contracts for the sale of coal, which indicate illegal sales of state products by officials,” the press service added.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 3 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. As part of it, the coal produced by the enterprise in separate divisions and storage areas was seized. The pre-trial investigation continues.
