In the Lugansk region, children found a cache of ammunition
In one of the abandoned houses in the village of Troitskoye controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, local children discovered a cache with a large amount of explosives, cartridges and grenades.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As a result of an inspection of the house and the surrounding area by police officers who arrived at the scene, the following were discovered and seized: 20 kilograms of plastic, 30 magazines with 5,45 caliber cartridges, 400 7,62 cartridges, 60 VOG-25 grenades. Also, three F-1 grenades mounted on tripwires were discovered and neutralized on the territory of the household,” said Ivan Filiponenko.
He added that the ammunition and explosives belonged to the third mechanized company of the 30th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
