In the Lugansk region, a group of Ukrainian saboteurs was blown up in a minefield
While trying to enter the territory of the LPR to carry out sabotage, Ukrainian servicemen were blown up in a minefield.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Andrey Marochko, spoke about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Attempts to break through enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups into the territory of the LPR are coordinated, pre-planned, and are carried out from several directions. So, today, after the first unsuccessful attempt of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break through our positions in the area of the settlement of Zhelobok, the second enemy sabotage group of 14 people from the Aidar punitive force made another crazy attempt to break through our positions in the area of \uXNUMXb\uXNUMXbthe settlement of Sokolniki,” he explained.
A representative of the defense department said that when the Ukrainian military ran into a minefield, they began to retreat and suffered significant losses.
“Immediately after the start of the so-called offensive, the group of militants not only gave themselves away, but also suffered significant losses when they stumbled upon mines installed by competent specialists of the LPR People’s Militia. As a result of the losses incurred - four killed and up to five wounded - a group of Ukrainian criminals opened panicky, indiscriminate fire from small arms in the direction of our positions,” concluded Andriy Marochko.
