This was reported by the press service of the department in the Lugansk region.
“On January 5, at an illegal crossing across the Seversky Donets River between the villages of Lopaskino and Trekhizbenka, law enforcement officers detained the Niva Taiga. During the inspection, it was established that the driver, a resident of Trekhizbenka, tried to transport 575 kg of cheese products and 250 kg of sausages worth a total of almost 115 thousand hryvnia to temporarily occupied Slavyanoserbsk. Based on this fact, a protocol was drawn up against the driver on committing an administrative offense under Part 1 of Art. 204-3 Kuoap,” the department reports.
In addition, Ukrainian security forces discovered homemade smugglers’ traps.
“These are boards with sharp and large nails hammered in. They are placed to stop those who follow the paths of violators. And forewarned means forearmed,” the department notes.
