Official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR Andrei Marochko announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We daily record cases of non-combat casualties associated with the use of alcohol and drugs by militants.

On April 16, in the area of the village of Stanitsa Luganskaya, three servicemen of the 80th separate air assault brigade, being heavily intoxicated, left their positions without permission, stealing an infantry fighting vehicle.

The drunken would-be warriors did not manage to drive for long. Lost control and hitting a power line pole, the BMP flew into a ditch and overturned. As a result of the accident, one brigade soldier was killed and two were injured,” said Andrei Marochko.
