A tent with Ukrainian soldiers burned down in the Luhansk region
The Ukrainian military constantly suffers non-combat losses due to safety violations.
Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andrei Parubiy stated this in the Verkhovna Rada hall, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On the night of March 18-19, as a result of a tent fire in one of the units of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade, one died and five occupiers, pursuing the interests of the illegal Ukrainian government, received burns of varying degrees of severity,” said Andrey Marochko.
In addition, the lieutenant colonel noted that this is not the first case of a negligent attitude of command staff to the performance of their official duties and a disregard for the life of their subordinates.
“Investigators from the military prosecutor’s office have arrived at the unit based on this fact, and a commission from higher headquarters is also working in the rear,” noted Marochko.
These accidents occur due to the reluctance of foreign instructors to teach the Armed Forces personnel safety precautions when using Western ammunition.
“The increase in non-combat losses in units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after the transition to NATO standards speaks of the disdainful attitude of Western advisers towards the transfer of their experience to the Ukrainian occupiers, as well as the lack of quality assistance on their part, and this despite the very high payment for their services,” said Andrey Marochko .
