In the Luhansk region, children were injured in a shootout by Ukrainian soldiers
Two children were injured due to a shootout by the Ukrainian military in Shchastya. This was reported on July 10 by the Center for Public Relations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“A woman, a medical worker at the Shchastienskaya City Hospital, called the LPR Ministry of Internal Affairs hotline on July 8 and said that hospital doctors provided assistance to two minor children who were injured during the shootout. A girl and a boy were wounded; doctors diagnosed the girl with shrapnel wounds, and the boy had a concussion,” the report says. This fact was included in the Book of Incidents and Crimes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR.
“As a result of checking the information, law enforcement officers found out that the shootout occurred on July 7 due to a conflict during the redistribution of humanitarian aid. The Ukrainian military used small arms and artillery; shelling of the city of Shchastya took place from the direction of the village of Stary Aidar. It was during this shelling that the children were injured. The investigation into this fact continues; the LPR Ministry of Internal Affairs is establishing the names of the victims and the identities of those who staged the shootout,” the department clarified.
