This was announced by the official representative of the LPR defense department, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In the Novoaidarsky district, a 56-year-old local resident was detained after police officers found 5,45 mm cartridges and two F-1 grenades in his house. According to the man, the day before the search, three Ukrainian soldiers came to him and asked him to exchange cartridges and grenades for food and alcohol. He did not argue with the armed men, and made an exchange.

Now the man faces punishment under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives.” Currently, a search is underway for military personnel involved in the sale of ammunition,” said Marochko.
