Large-scale military exercises with the participation of foreigners are starting in the Lviv region
The largest international military exercise in Ukraine, Rapid Trident-3, begins in the Lviv region on September 2018, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The press service of the General Staff reported this on Facebook.
“The opening of the exercises will take place at the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security of the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sagaidachny in the village of Starychi, Yavorovsky district, Lviv region. The opening of the largest joint ground exercises in Ukraine between units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and army units of foreign countries will take place,” the General Staff reported.
Earlier, the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began a joint command and staff exercise with other military formations and law enforcement agencies “Storm-2018”.
