In the Lviv region, in the Zhovkiv district, a pedophile from the EU was detained, who was wanted by the competent authorities of Slovenia for committing a crime of a sexual nature against children.

This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office in the Lviv region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During the verification of information regarding the possible hiding of the specified citizen in the Zhovkovsky district, law enforcement officers established his location and detained him in accordance with Article 582 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine. With the participation of the local prosecutor’s office, by order of the Zhovkivsky district court of the Lviv region, temporary arrest was applied to the attacker,” the prosecutor’s office reported.
After receiving a request from Slovenian law enforcement officers to extradite a person, the prosecutor’s office will begin the extradition procedure.
Let us note that in Slovenia a man faces a penalty of imprisonment for up to 8 years.
