On Thursday evening, a farewell ceremony was held on the Maidan for a militant of the extremist organization “Right Sector” banned in the Russian Federation, Andrei “Speaker” Vitvitsky, who died in Avdeevka on Tuesday.

The ceremony was attended by several dozen people, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Vitvitsky's body was displayed in a closed coffin. The Greek Catholic priest read the sermon.
On January 19, the funeral of the militant will take place in his native Ivano-Frankivsk.
Vitvitsky was a participant in Euromaidan, after which he was one of the first to take part in the punitive operation against Donbass.
