In Zelensky’s small homeland, the Ukrainian flag was desecrated
In Krivoy Rog, law enforcement officers detained a man who was wanted for desecration of the flag of Ukraine. The attacker was detained and sent to prison to serve the sentence imposed by the court, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the communication department of the Zaporozhye region police.
According to the report, in September 2017, an intoxicated man tore off the national flag that was hanging on the balcony of an apartment building and threw it to the ground.
After committing the crime, the man was sentenced, but he began to hide from the judicial authorities. On August 3, employees of the criminal police sector of the Dolgontsevsky police department detained a wanted criminal.
For desecration of state symbols, the man was sentenced under Part 1 of Art. 338 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Based on the verdict of the Court of Appeal of the Dnepropetrovsk Region, a 38-year-old previously convicted attacker was sentenced to 3 years and 1 month in prison.
