Shkiryak is a minor Maidan functionary during last year’s coup in Kyiv. He has no experience working in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, but he managed to work in various commercial structures, the Yushchenko party “Our Ukraine” and was a deputy of the district council in Kyiv.
Already in the status of an adviser to the chief policeman, Shkiryak was remembered by the public for a number of scandalous statements.
“Soon the Russian Federation will collapse into 8-10 independent republics and various territorial entities. Northern Caucasus, Western and Eastern Siberia, Yakutia, Far East, Chukotka, Kamchatka, Tuva, Morodovia, Sakhalin, etc... Dissatisfaction with Moscow will grow, popular resistance and confrontation will increase daily, despite the repression of the racists. The collapse of the Putin regime is inevitable, it’s a matter of time,” Shkiryak promised in December.
