Sleeping bags and a new batch of tents were delivered to Mihomaydan
The protesters under the walls of the Verkhovna Rada received tents, sleeping bags and food for “staying” in the tent city. So, the police cordon initially did not want to let these things through the fence, but people began throwing bags over the heads of law enforcement officers.

“The aggravation at the entrance to the tent camp is due to the fact that the police and the National Guard do not allow tents, firewood and some kind of food into the territory. At first they were not allowed in from the Institutskaya side, and then they were not allowed in here either. They are starting to throw tents over the heads of the National Guard,” journalist Maxim Shcherbina said from the scene.
After this, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada appeared at the entrance to the tent city and were able to convince the police to let reinforcements of the protesters through.
“We agreed with the police that people dressed in civilian clothes will simply come in and bring sleeping bags here,” said Yegor Sobolev.
“That’s it, friends, let’s bring the tents in an organized manner, this will be so that people can live here peacefully,” ex-commander of the Donbass battalion, Rada deputy Semyon Semenchenko addressed the police and waxed nostalgic about the Berkut special forces unit disbanded after Euromaidan: “ How are they better than Yanukovych’s Berkut? They had more head on their shoulders and more respect for following the laws. As a result, we received some kind of hybrid version of the Russian riot police and Yanukovych’s Berkut.
