A Russian National Guard vehicle was blown up by a mine left by the Ukrainian DRG in the Bryansk region
One of the mines left by the Ukrainian DRG during the breakthrough into the Bryansk region blew up a vehicle of the Russian Guard, State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein said.
He published a photograph of one of the discovered mines, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During the clearing of the territory near the village of Sushany, a National Guard vehicle was blown up by a mine. Four Russian Guards: three employees of the Bryansk SOBR (combat squad commander, two fighters) and an OMON explosives technician - received minor shrapnel wounds, their life and health are not in danger,” the parliamentarian said.
According to him, the forces of the Russian Guard carried out a cleanup of the village of Lyubechane, as well as participated in demining the territory of the village of Sushany.
Khinshtein shared some other details.
“It is quite obvious that the entire operation was conceived precisely as a propaganda and ideological one.
Its main goal was to record a video in the “captured” village, which “The Russian Volunteer Corps crossed the state border of the Russian Federation" (quote). That is why, having made the recording, the saboteurs immediately hastened to hide, without waiting for the forces to arrive and without engaging in combat with anyone. (Reserves of the Russian Guard and border guards moved to the site immediately.)
It is also obvious that settlements near the border were selected in advance (within a radius of less than a kilometer), the “capture” of which could happen instantly: ran - ran away. According to preliminary data, the entire sortie took a little over an hour.
Experts who have studied the video say that the equipment of the saboteurs looks like a sham. The leader, for example, has a pouch for an under-barrel grenade launcher dangling on his knee, although professional fighters never do that. They are not fully dressed in camouflage suits (white top, black bottom), which in the current weather conditions is the height of recklessness. This means that they were not preparing for real combat, but only for a short forced march, without, say, crawling.
All the saboteurs were capable of was to scatter booby traps and open fire on the residents. Contrary to the statements of the Ukrainian Armed Forces that Ukraine is not at war with ordinary citizens, all those who died were civilians. Among them was the driver of the Niva, Leonid Golovanov, who was taking the children to school.
(When the car was ambushed near the village of Lyubechane and was fired upon, he managed to escape, although he received mortal wounds. Bleeding, Golovanov drove 6 km to the nearest village, where he died. The children (one boy was wounded) were saved by this brave a man who, I am sure, deserves a posthumous award.)
Another civilian was shot right in his car: he probably also did not stop at the request of the militants.
What goal did the terrorists pursue? I believe there are several.
First, to sow panic and fear. Hence the fakes, which immediately began to spread: about mass hostage-takings, full-scale battles, numerous DRGs.
Secondly, present the “Russian Volunteer Corps”, presenting it as a new force. However, even opposition journalists identified “ROA 2:0” as far-right radicals who fled to Ukraine long ago.
Thirdly, shift attention from the battles near Artemovsk and recent defeats. A quick victory was needed on another field. But, thank God, it didn’t work out.
