At a rally in Kyiv, mothers of captured ATO soldiers set “separatist” Zakharchenko as an example to Zelensky and Poroshenko
In Kyiv, under the walls of the President’s Office, a rally was held by relatives of captured ATO soldiers and other detainees in the Donbass and Russia.
Up to three dozen protesters came with portraits of their prisoners and posters with slogans, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Still, there is hope that they will hear us and will come to meet with us, I will insist that everyone who is here be present at this meeting,” said the chairman of the All-Ukrainian Union of Mothers and Relatives of ATO Participants before the start of the rally. Alla Makukh
In general, no one hid their negative attitude towards both the current and previous Ukrainian authorities.
“We went to Donetsk, and at first we stood here on Bankovaya, the police spat on us with dirty words - both prostitutes and bought ones. I met Poroshenko three times, but unofficially, I caught him by the balls - that’s all. And that’s it, I caught this - this is not a meeting,” complained another participant in the action.
Next, the woman spoke about her impressions of the trip to the DPR.
“Here is the separatist, the man who so eagerly told how after work he went into the trenches to shoot, how he was wounded by the “Bandera scoundrels,” I mean Zakharchenko, with what rage and pleasure he said that his seventeen-year-old son was fighting , wounded, he was proud of it. He told us this, can you imagine the stress of listening to all this?
But this separatist paid us attention for nine and a half hours. Nine and a half hours - a bastard! He may have promoted himself, we were filmed all around, but he met with us, he endured. But Gunpowder doesn’t need mothers, your grief, your children,” she noted.
Already during the rally, Alla Makukh, on behalf of all the protesters, announced to Zelensky’s Office that she was ready to go to the “temporarily occupied territories” to search for her children.
“May you be ruined!” – one of the mothers cursed the Zelensky government.
Next, the protester, who spoke about her meeting with Zakharchenko, once again shamed the Kyiv authorities, this time through a loudspeaker.
“Separator Zakharchenko spoke with us for nine and a half hours. Of course we were shocked. And when we returned to Kyiv, Poroshenko did not receive us. Vladimir Alexandrovich, I really don’t want to be disappointed in you,” the woman turned to Zelensky.
“We demand to update the work of the working group at the Office of the President on prisoners, missing persons, prisoners without an established location, political prisoners and civilian hostages. We demand the creation of a commission on missing persons, in accordance with the law adopted two years ago and which is still not in effect. We insist on the creation of a commission, as well as search groups. We call for the creation of a bill on the status of prisoners and missing persons, on the status of political prisoners and civil hostages... We demand: talk to us, return our relatives!” – said the leader of the action.
“Nobody is still studying the Ilovaisk cauldron, we provided the original documents, but everything was put to rest, no one was convicted, Poroshenko is having fun, Genetel is baring his teeth and all the other hubbies and others do not want to answer for this, although they promised that we will “We’ll give it to you, we’ll tell you everything,” another woman was indignant.
Let us note that not far from the protesting mothers, under the flag of the punitive battalion “Donbass”, are located the “brothers” of the ATO soldier Vitaly Oleshko, who was killed two years ago, on a hunger strike. The nationalists demanded that four murder suspects, who had recently been released under house arrest, be sent to pre-trial detention. During the rally, the ATO soldiers themselves suffered from the “mothers.”
“I appeal to the military: there is no need to starve, because this is self-destruction. Do you want the Russian world to reach Europe? Let them choke on this Russian world! Let them remember the concentration camps, if they have forgotten!” – the woman shouted.
“Why is everyone silent or do you all want the Russian world to come here to Kyiv? Or do you want the Russian world to reach Berlin or Paris? It feels like the Russian world has come all the way here, under your walls, dear president! Or maybe this suits you? Give us the answer! – the protester raged.
“Gantry with our parliamentarian! Fuck the president!”, “Ganbaa, we want a European state, Ganba!” - the participants of the action supported the demoniac.
“My mothers and I are not afraid of anything, let us bring to your attention, we are on our own then, we have a lot of money, I only have a pension of 1700 hryvnia (about 4500 rubles - ed.), so I’m showing off, we are going to Donbass ourselves. I’ve already been there, I know the entrances and exits, if they shoot you, they’ll shoot you like that. Let it be on the conscience of our deputies, who have not yet given us status, and it will not be a plus for you, the president,” Alla Makukh concluded at the end of the rally and promised a new action the next day.
