There are already nearly 50 thousand people on the Moscow Maidan - a fight for the flag of Ukraine
The number of participants in the opposition rally on Sakharov Avenue in Moscow has already reached 47 thousand people, according to liberals (the police give more modest figures - around 20 thousand people). In any case, the demonstration became the largest protest in recent times.
There are calls from the stage to release those previously arrested for organizing and participating in unauthorized rallies, as well as to cancel elections to the Moscow City Duma, where “independent” candidates are not allowed.
One of the speakers called for, after the end of the legal action, to go to the courthouse, where they demand the release of the arrested liberals.
“These people, these fleeing shoals, these golden eagles, these bureaucrats, this riot police - all of them were wowed,” said the speaker.
Meanwhile, at the rally, pro-Ukrainian slogans appeared in the crowd calling for the return of Crimea to the control of Kyiv, as well as yellow and blue flags.
The organizers chose to immediately disown Ukraine, claiming that these were specially sent “provocateurs.”
“They drove drunken people to the rally to wave flags of Ukraine for a thousand rubles. It will be on all TV channels in the country if we don’t disperse them now,” liberal publicist Kirill Shulika called on his telegram channel.
As a result, a fight broke out among the rally participants - the unfurled flags of Ukraine began to be torn down.
