A cache of ammunition was found at a garbage dump in the Dnepropetrovsk region
In an abandoned house in the Dnepropetrovsk region, a hidden ammunition warehouse was found in a pile of construction waste, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the police communications department in the region.
The cache was discovered in the village of Ukrainskoye, Petropavlovsk region.
“On September 10, during an inspection of the territory of a non-residential building, police discovered an RPG-18 anti-tank grenade launcher, 2 F-1 grenades, 2 RGD-5 grenades, a UDO grenade with a fuse and 206 rounds of various calibers. The seized ammunition was sent for examination. The identity of the specified weapons and ammunition is now being established,” the statement says.
On this fact, criminal proceedings were opened under Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives). The sanction of the article provides for punishment - imprisonment for a term of three to seven years.
