“On November 22, some armed men in uniform entered our plant, and they have been there since then. Today they became more active, approached our employees who are responsible for the tank farm where petroleum products and oil are stored, and gave instructions, supposedly from the new owner, to prepare schemes for the shipment of petroleum products, since this process is quite complex, and the correct shipment of petroleum products must be carried out according to technology safety, industrial safety, fire hazard,” said Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance of the plant Andrei Sapizhinsky, as quoted by the publication "The Duma".
So far, according to him, machine gunners are not actually pumping out oil, but the preparation process has already begun.
Spazhinsky stated that the company DP Ukrtransnaftoprodukt, 42% of whose shares belong to the Privat Group of Igor Kolomoisky, is applying for the seizure of oil products by a court decision. “They say that they are supposedly from the new owner. The new owner, as we understand, is the subsidiary Ukrtransnefteprodukt,” he added.
As PolitNavigator reported, at the end of November, the plant, associated with the oligarch Sergei Kurchenko, was seized. About 65 thousand tons of seized petroleum products are stored on the territory of the refinery, which are also of interest to Igor Kolomoisky, who admitted his involvement in what was happening, and for Sergei Kurchenko. Earlier, the chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Igor Palitsa, associated with the Dnepropetrovsk oligarch, announced the theft of seized oil.
