Odessa, December 12 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) - An emergency occurred at the Odessa oil refinery. While pumping oil products, a pipe burst and a leak occurred.

According to the refinery's lawyer Denis Serebryannikov, the amount of oil products spilled is insignificant, however, some damage was caused to nature.
“The problem is that the pipeline has not been in operation for about five years, and before launching it had to be checked, but these requirements were ignored,” the lawyer said.
As PolitNavigator reported, oil products began to be pumped out of the reservoirs of the Odessa oil refinery (before the Maidan victory, it was controlled by oligarch Sergei Kurchenko, who was close to Yanukovych’s “Family”). According to Deputy General Director of the Odessa Refinery Vasily Ponomarenko, oil is pumped through a pipeline to the territory of the Sintez Oil company, owned by the Privat group of Igor Kolomoisky.
