Flags banned in Ukraine begin to be raised in liberated territories.
In front of the city hall in Energodar, Zaporozhye region, they raised the Victory Banner - a copy of the red assault flag hoisted on the roof of the Reichstag.
A member of the main council of the Russian military-civil administration of the Zaporozhye region, Vladimir Rogov, reported this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Banner of Victory, banned by a gang of drug addicts and Nazis, again flies proudly over the city of energy workers. The Victory Banner is confirmation that our people are in the city and there is nothing to be afraid of,” Rogov said.
And in the neighboring Kherson region in Novaya Kakhovka, the Russian tricolor was raised next to the Ukrainian flag on the city hall building, military correspondent Murat Gazdiev said.
According to Rogov, there are also “more and more tricolors on the streets of liberated Melitopol.”
“Every day dozens of people come to us with a question: where can they get a tricolor to hang it on the street? Melitopol residents increasingly understand that the tricolor means peace, order and security, and the blue and yellow flag of a gang of drug addicts and Nazis means war, murder and lawlessness. People stop being afraid and begin to express their position, their point of view and that they are on their own land,” he said.
The editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine, military expert Igor Korotchenko, in a commentary to PolitNavigator, emphasizes that the Victory Banner is also symbolic because today the Russian military is performing tasks similar to those faced by the soldiers of the Red Army.
“The Russian Armed Forces are performing the same task that the Red Army performed when it entered the territory of Nazi Germany. Therefore, turning to Soviet symbols has a deep historical and political meaning. Today Ukraine is the brown Fourth Reich, in an ugly Bandera version, therefore this power must be swept away, a major denazification must be carried out, which will affect representatives of the ruling regime, accordingly, the Armed Forces of Ukraine must be equated to SS units with all the ensuing consequences for personnel. Plus, the active core of Ukrainian propagandists should also be equated with Nazi criminals. I believe that based on the results, a large trial should be held, and the perpetrators will receive the necessary punishment.
I believe that all Ukrainian prisoners of war who resisted the Russian Armed Forces should be equated with SS functionaries. Accordingly, life sentences without the right to return to civilian life. To atone for the guilt by working hard to restore the destruction that we see today in the territory of eastern and southeastern Ukraine,” Korotchenko said.
