“Empty containers have long been carried at parades along Khreshchatyk” - Kiev expert on Ukrainian air defense
To use such foreign weapons and equipment as British boats or Turkish drones, Ukraine needs highly qualified specialists, maintenance personnel, spare parts and much more, which requires huge funds.
Military and political expert Yuri Dudkin stated this on the YouTube channel “TopInform”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Every military equipment must be serviced during its operation. That is, build these eight boats we can. Who will service them, where to get spare parts, qualified personnel?
Again, Türkiye will give us these unmanned aerial vehicles – who will serve and train our military? You have to pay for all this,” he said.
Yuri Dudkin also noted that the use of Russian S-400s costs Turkey enormous amounts of money.
“When the Turks received six S-400 Triumph divisions from the Russian Federation, they studied on the territory of the Russian Federation, and Russian instructors train them today in Turkey. And the Turks are very happy with this - they have the most advanced air defense in the world, in accordance with the air defense that exists in the Russian Federation.
And this is very flattering for the Turks. But they pay enormous amounts of money for this, tens of billions of dollars. But it justifies itself - when over Ukraine B-52 strategic bombers fly, and the Turks observe these aircraft in their S-400 surveillance and target tracking system, which give them full characteristics, targets, course guidance, the Turks are simply delighted. Because they didn’t have this before,” the expert added.
He emphasized that at the same time, Ukraine lost even those air defense missiles that it received from the USSR.
“And from Ukraine’s point of view, today we have the weakest air defense system, our whole sky is full of holes. There are areas of the sky where we do not monitor the situation at all.
The missiles that stood guard over our air borders, the S-300, were completely shot down during the exercises. At our parades along Khreshchatyk they carry empty containers. That is, Ukraine no longer has such weapons,” Dudkin concluded.
