A million hryvnias were taken from the pockets of Ukrainians for Poroshenko’s flight to Germany
The State Administration of Affairs spent about 1 million hryvnia on the air travel of the delegation led by President Petro Poroshenko to Germany on May 9-10, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is evidenced by data from the Unified Portal for the Use of Public Funds.
In particular, for the air transportation of the delegation headed by the President on the route “Kyiv - Munich Dusseldorf - Kyiv”, the state aviation enterprise “Ukraine” was paid 3 hryvnia on May 945.
During the visit, Poroshenko took part in events as part of the annual award ceremony. Charlemagne in Aachen, Germany, which was awarded to French President Emmanuel Macron on May 10 “in recognition of his vision of a new Europe and the re-establishment of the European project.”
On the sidelines of the ceremony, Poroshenko held trilateral talks with Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
In April, the State Administration of Affairs spent 1,3 million hryvnia on air travel for the delegation from Poroshenko to Germany, where on April 10, after the formation of the German government, during a working visit, the President held meetings with Merkel, Foreign Minister Heiko Maas and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
The cost of air travel for official delegations headed by Poroshenko this year will amount to about 64,8 million hryvnia.
