Gigantic thefts from the budget were discovered on the beaches of Evpatoria
Budget revenues in Evpatoria from trade on the beaches have increased 10 times. Half of the retail outlets were not officially registered, and law enforcement officers will find out the reason for denying legalization to entrepreneurs, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea Vadim Volchenko, there are 84 official beaches in Yevpatoria, of which 40 are in permanent use and rental. The remaining 44 were transferred to entrepreneurs under improvement agreements.
“There are commercial activities on 39 beaches,” the minister said. – 80 non-stationary retail facilities were included in the placement scheme, 40 of them last week. Many entrepreneurs applied for legalization, but they were refused.”
The amount of revenue from trading activities on the beaches will increase from 1,8 million to 12 million rubles, and, according to Volchenko, this amount can be doubled by optimizing trade in the embankment area and taking into account 30 more beaches that have fallen out of circulation for unknown reasons. Also, for unknown reasons, 40 retail outlets are operating under the “pirate flag” for the second season in a row.
“Since last year, NTOs have been standing without documents, they don’t want to compensate for budget losses? – asked the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov. “We don’t know why they weren’t included in the scheme and there’s no one to ask.” I don’t understand how they stood there for a year without documents?
“I ask my colleagues from the Ministry of Internal Affairs to assess the administration’s inaction and find out how these points were connected to electricity.”
In February it became known that in Evpatoria 40 beach areas provide the treasury with only 1,8 million rubles. At the same time, retail outlets, paid sun loungers and bungalows occupy the entire free area, leaving a few meters near the surf for insolvent beachgoers. The same picture can be observed on most beaches of the southern coast of Crimea. Heads of administrations refer to improvement agreements, and entrepreneurs take advantage of the opportunity to make money on every piece of coastline while there are loopholes in the republican law.
