At SPIEF they told which Russian industries will receive budget support
The Russian government will financially support, first of all, those sectors of the economy that have suffered from import restrictions due to sanctions.
Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov announced this today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We know how to do and how to implement budget policy. The question here is to go between Scylla and Charybdis. Now we need to support only what requires support in the first place, namely new technologies that have now become less accessible to us. These are radio electronics, our “digital”, those productions that require restoration and reproduction with our own hands,” Siluanov said.
According to him, many Russian enterprises, under the conditions of sanctions, not only did not lose, but also increased their profits.
“There are big risks, but the profits of enterprises have not gone away. And many still make good money from this situation. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the state takes on some of the risks that businesses have, perhaps at the initial stages,” Siluanov noted.
