Director of the Lugansk Regional Employment Center Sergei Bolotsky spoke about this on the Ukrainian TV channel STV Television, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The unemployment rate in the Luhansk region was 16,4%, this is the highest percentage throughout Ukraine. It is worth noting that the average unemployment rate in Ukraine is 9,4%. Also, according to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, our level of single social contribution payers has decreased by 20%. At the moment, the situation in the region is very difficult,” Bolotsky said.
