A civilian was blown up on the territory of Donbass controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces
In the front-line village of Kyiv-controlled Dzerzhinsk, a man was blown up by an explosive device.
This was reported on the website of the main department of the national police of the Donetsk region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A resident of the frontline village of Yuzhnoye stepped on an explosive device near his house. The victim was hospitalized with numerous shrapnel wounds. The police opened criminal proceedings into the terrorist attack,” the statement said.
Information about the incident was received by the Toretsk (Dzerzhinsk) police department yesterday, May 27. The police established that at 17:00 a man born in 1948 blew himself up after stumbling upon an explosive object near his house. The victim was taken to the hospital with numerous shrapnel wounds to the extremities, chest and head.
