In Donbass, the commander of a Ukrainian marine battalion, originally from the Cherkasy region, who participated in the so-called Joint Forces Operation, died.

“On July 2, Marine Eduard Fedorov passed away. He was from the village of Valyava, Gorodishchensky district. He was supposed to turn 22 in August,” the TV channel reported.
Fedorov was the battalion commander. He received mortal wounds during the fighting near the village of Vodyanoye, Donetsk region. He died in a hospital in the Kharkov region. He left his pregnant wife at home.
